Well this is my first blog, really more of a test to see how it all works to be honest. What I want to do here, on this blog, is more for personal reasons I guess. I was born and raised atheist and along the way I have come to know Christ. But I have never put down in writing all the reasons why or how I came to know Him. Hopefully after I am done here I should be able to look back over my work and have a detailed description on why and how I believe in what I do. Some Christian’s do not feel the need to provide evidence or give a logical explanation as to why they believe what they do. But as I have come from atheism to theism I feel that I need to be able to account for the transformation in my life and make a strong case for it, like Paul at the Areopagus in acts 17 if I am to expect others to understand or even accept my world-view.
that makes sense, good idea. then when you have times of doubt (and we all do, not matter what we believe), you can read over this and remind yourself why you believe. and other people can see your thought processes...so. why do you believe in God?
